Buss Murton announces Kerry Carter’s appointment to Partner
Buss Murton is pleased to announce that Kerry Carter has been appointed Partner of the firm with effect from 1st June 2017.
Kerry Carter, a Chartered Legal Executive, joined Buss Murton in April 2016 in the Residential Property and Private Client departments at Buss Murton’s East Grinstead office.
Kerry has many years’ experience advising in all areas of residential property work. She frequently deals with high value transactions and the accompanying complexities of dealing with listed buildings together with associated land. Kerry also advises on all areas of Private Client work including Wills, probate and lasting powers of attorney, as well as post death deeds of variation in relation to inheritance and capital gains tax.
Earlier this year, Kerry took on the role of managing both the East Grinstead office and the Cranbrook office and having split her time between the two locations she will now be based full time in the Cranbrook office. Kerry said: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to manage the Cranbrook branch and look forward to supporting my colleagues as well as our valuable clients and local businesses and continuing to deliver exceptional service and advice to the local community.”
Andrew Linton, Managing Partner at Buss Murton commented: “Since Kerry joined us in April last year, she has played a key role in managing the East Grinstead office and from January this year she also took over the responsibility for managing the Cranbrook office. Kerry will now be fully focused on Cranbrook and we are confident that her addition to the Partnership will help to ensure Buss Murton Law LLP will continue to go from strength to strength.”
