Rights for Grandparents
Grandparents often play an important role in the lives of their grandchildren.
Despite the important role that Grandparents often have in the lives of their grandchildren, they do not have an automatic right to spend time with them and this valuable relationship can be overlooked or intentionally blocked in a divorce or separation. However, grandparents can make an application to the Court for an order allowing them to see their grandchildren and so if you have been refused access to your grandchildren and would like to know what options are available to you, then our family law team can advise and assist you in resolving your dispute through collaborative law, mediation or negotiation or if necessary, through court proceedings.
