Mediation

We offer mediation which may be the right solution for you to resolve any conflict you are experiencing with your former-partner and enable you both to sort out all sorts of issues following the breakdown of your relationship, including money matters and regarding your children. Mediation might also be helpful for wider family members, such as grandparents.

Mediation will enable you to talk about things openly with your former partner but within a safe, confidential framework and in a balanced way, helping you reach the best solutions for you both and your family and make your decisions lasting for the future.

Mediation can be more cost effective and swifter than court proceedings.

Whatever solutions you find in the mediation sessions, can be recorded so that they become legally binding.

Margaret Sculpher is a Resolution trained Family Mediator with 30 years’ experience in family law. She is empathetic and practical in her approach and will help you reach the outcomes you both hope to achieve in a balanced and fair way enabling you to move on in the most conciliatory way possible.

Is mediation the right approach for me?
